Six years on this water

Meet Your Tampa BayBoat Detailing Crew

We look after boats for people who'd rather be out on the water than spend Saturday cleaning one. Deal with us and you'll be dealing with a small, skilled crew who get to know your boat.

How Bayside started

I grew up on this water. My family had boats, I've owned boats, and I've spent most of my life somewhere around Tampa Bay with salt on my hands.

I didn't get here in a straight line. I ran a gym from the age of 20 to 28, and when COVID closed it I went back to what I knew and enjoyed. I taught myself to detail properly and took a course with another marine operator to fill in the gaps I had. Pulling a boat back from a state its owner had written off still hasn't gotten old, and it's been six years now.

For the first three years it was just me. My truck, my equipment, every single boat. That's how I learned what a proper job looks like and how long one honestly takes, and it's why I'm still particular about it. These days there's a crew, and the standard they work to is the one I set on my own.

Why peoplestay with us

Most owners who call us have been let down before. They've hired a detailer, had a good few months, then watched the quality slide or the replies stop. It's the thing we hear most often, and it's why we're careful about three things.

We turn up

To date we've shown up on the agreed day at the agreed time, every single time. No exaggeration.

We put it right

If you're not happy with the work, we come back at no extra cost until you are. That has been the policy since Tim was doing every boat on his own.

You'll know who's coming

Whoever turns up will have been on your boat before. We keep the crew small on purpose, because somebody who has seen your boat three times notices what's changed since last time.
