Over time, if your boat goes unprotected, the harsh nature of saltwater and the elements in general can begin to do great damage to your boat. The primary area of concern is something called “oxidation.”
What is oxidation? Oxidation is a chemical reaction within the gel coat that results in a dull, powdery look. Part of our expertise includes taking your oxidized gelcoat and shaving it down to expose the glassy new gel coat underneath.

What is included in the maintenance wash?
On top of the low Ph boat wash to keep the wax where it needs to be, we scan every inch of the boat, bow to stern, to touch up and perfect whatever is needed.
If we spend hours outside in the sun without sunscreen, our skin burns and we age much more quickly, right? Your boat is no different. If you value your body, you wear sunscreen. If you value your boat, you keep it waxed and protected.
Importantly, keeping your boat clean helps protect it’s long term value, which is a huge benefit while you own and enjoy your boat – as well as an important benefit if you ever decide to sell your boat. You want to protect your investment while you own it and be able to maximize the value of the boat if you decide to sell it.
Absolutely! We know a lot of boat owners who keep their vessel in tip-top shape. They thoroughly enjoy cleaning almost as much as they enjoy being out on the water.
However, most boat owner quickly tire of trying to keep their boat perfect all the time. They simply don’t have the time, the energy, the supplies and know-how when it comes to detailing all of the various elements found on a boat. Keeping plastic, steel, glass, vinyl, ceramic coatings looking great requires experience.
It’s similar to having your car washed and detailed or your pool serviced. Sure you can do it, but do you really want to? That’s where we come in!

We are located in the Ruskin / Apollo Beach area and try to keep our mobile boat detailing services limited to within an hour’s drive. We have clients and Captains Club members in Ruskin, Apollo Beach, Riverview, Brandon, Tampa, St. Petersburg, Parrish, Bradenton, and Sarasota.
We typically price per foot, however each boat is different. Pricing guidelines may vary depending on a variety of factors. It's best to reach out for a quick conversation about your boat.
If your boat is heavily oxidized that can increase the price. Either way, we like to come out and look at the boat before we give a concrete price – or review photos of your boat that you send to us. We can also do a free test spot in a hidden area of the boat if you’d like so that you can see what we’re capable of.
Expectations also factor in. For example, some of our customers want to sell their boat and aren’t looking for perfection, they just want to get it looking “good enough to sell.”
We can detail it so that you can potentially sell for thousands more than you would be able to before we get our hands on it. So, the goal would be to find that sweet spot where we save you a little money on the detail but you’re still able to sell for more because we de-age your boat by many years.
